I have nothing without Him

My life is worth nothing

My work is worth nothing

My friends & family too

For when I die, I stand alone

To hear God's judgement call

If my name isn't written in the book of Life

Then I am worth nothing

If Jesus didn't shed His blood for me

I am worth nothing

But God was prepared to take my nothing 

And turn me into something

For me to share His love

To people who feel they are worth nothing.

That they, like me may come to know

My God who truly loves us as we are

He will take our worthlessness

And make us brand new

For our nothingness to God means everything

He can change our  life around

He turns our nothing into something

By transforming us into new

based loosely on The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want
