Standing before the throne of God

I had to bow my head and kneel

I was unworthy to be there and asked for His compassion

As I knelt , I felt someone knee beside me and speak

His words were heading straight to the throne

"This is one, I suffered and died for,

This is one, I gave my life for"

As He spoke, He put His arm on me

And lifted me up so I was stood next to Him

Then He put a crown on my head and said

"Father I give you my child, for you to place your love upon"

From the  throne of God, I heard a might voice say

" I accept your child my Son, and now they are part of our family."

With this my eyes were opened and there I saw

Jesus smiling at me with so much love. 

Tears welled up in my eyes, for now I know

I'm part of God's family
