We reach a place when we come into the Presence of God

Feel His Spirit and be surrounded by His love. 

It's easy to pray, it's easy to sing praise.

It really feels like we come closer to Him 

We think this is it, this is what loving Jesus is all about. 

Then He reminds us once again

To take off your shoes, 

For the ground you are standing on is Holy. 

Why is it holy?

Because when we reach out to God and He reaches out to us

Wherever He is, it is Holy Ground

And we must bow our knees in respect. 

For this is God Almighty, this is the God above all Gods

The creator, not the created.

And we are His creatures, wanting to do His will.

In total surrender, in total love  and in total joy. 

For the ground we are standing on is God's Holy ground.
