I will give you rest

When life holds so much stress over you

When time seems to pass so quickly

I will give you rest

Sometimes life is full of joy

And laughter fills the air

So much happiness, so much love 

And people who really care.

But even joy can cause pain and weariness

That's when I will give you rest

I'll give you the strength to carry on. 

Sometimes life brings hardship and pain

And no matter which way you turn

Every decision you make is wrong

Every breath you take feels shallow.

But rest comes from God as you battle on

Along with hope & joy and a feeling that you belong

To the God of the Universe who understands all

For He will give you rest and strength to carry on
