This has been bugging me for a while.

Do we celebrate Christmas in Heaven?

Or is Christmas just an earthly celebration?

What is the reason for celebrating Christmas in Heaven?

Why should we celebrate it there

We hear that the Angle sang , Holy, Holy 

When Jesus was born on earth?

Does that mean whenever they sing Holy, they remember Jesus coming to earth?

So hear are my thoughts

When Jesus came to earth the angels celebrate.

When Jesus ascended back to heaven there was an even bigger celebration.

The modern, western Christmas is all about bright glittery colours.

About giving and receiving presents

About consuming rich foods until we feel full and sick

Or for some drinking so much alcohol that they don't know what they are saying or doing.

I wonder if the Angels look at us and shake their heads?

You've got it all wrong, you don't understand, I hear them say.

Christmas is about Jesus, nothing more, nothing less

And so my conclusion is that whether in heaven or on earth

Christmas us all about Jesus. 

And all our celebrations must point to Him

For He is the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings.
