Here I sit in the place of Peace

Here I rest in its gentleness

Here I let all the trials go

Here the stress vanishes into thin air

Here I sit in the place of Peace

The outside world trundles on

It's a noisy sound but so far away

But here I rest in God's own place

And feel His Spirit welcoming me. 

These walls have heard so many prayers

The troubles of man's frantic life

But here they are absorbed in God's love

And turned into this place of Peace
